This wonderful massage oil (pronounced "ooh-eee") is used for stiff, sore, overexerted muscles and joints that are worse with the cold and dampness. This oil is also great to massage into cold muscles before exercise to help them warm up and to prepare them for stretching and activity.

U-I Oil contains the light, warming aromatic oils cinnamon, peppermint, and lilac, and the tree resin "xue jie" also known as "dragon's blood" (a resin known for its ability to dispel congealing blood and relieve pain). The main ingredient is the warming herb "ai ye" or mugwort (folium artimisae). Mugwort's properties penetrate obstruction, activate local circulation and drive out cold. It is also useful for clearing out stagnation after cupping.

U-I oil is awesome. June 12, 2014
Reviewer: Jasmine from AZ, USA.
After not being able to find U-I oil locally or even in the country on amazon, I found it here in the modern herb shop. Shipping was super quick and I received it in a couple days.
As for the oil, I love it. It seems to penetrate a little deeper than Po Sum On and relieve pain slightly better. I'm looking forward to ordering more in the near future since I'm almost done with it! I've been using it in myself and patients all week and everyone loves it!

Muscle aches February 28, 2014

I also use this product for muscle aches. It is good for individuals who do not like a strong burning or warming sensation. Much milder than Po Sum On oil but just as effective!

LOVE LOVE my U-I-Oil, strong smell but I like it. Relieves even the worst pain. Can be used with a heating pad for better absorption and relief.

I love this stuff!  You only need to use a little bit as it is pretty powerful.  It really warms up the muscles before exercise and is great for massages!
