as tonifies and warms the spleen. It bears some resemblance to, and can be substituted for,
Xiao Yao Wan.*
Dredges liver qi, soothes the liver, cools liver heat, harmonizes and resolves half exterior-half interior, transforms phlegm, tonifies spleen qi.
Use for various applications:
1) harmonizes and resolves shaoyang syndrome (half exterior-half interior syndromes), including exogenous heat toxins that have moved in towards the interior.
2) stagnation and congestion of liver qi.
3) supports a healthy menstrual cycles with regard to liver qi stagnation, including premenstrual tension.

in cases of liver yang rising or liver fire causing hypertension or
headache. Contraindicated in cases of vomiting of blood due to
deficiency of yin.
Do not take with interferon.
